How to install skype in ubuntu using terminal
Installing Skype on Ubuntu in just few easy steps -
1. Open Terminal using Ctrl+Alt+T . Now remove the old Skype version if installed previously by using the following command -
sudo apt-get remove skype skype-bin
rm -rf ~/.skype
2. Enable Canonical partners repository -
Go to - System settings -->Software & Update -->Other Software
Check or Tick those un-check items
3. Now in terminal window run the next command shown below -
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install skype
Now just click on super key and write skype on the dash-board, you found your skype application over there, just click on it , Sign-in and enjoy.
